Distinguished Australian and overseas-based researchers will teach advanced courses on the three themes of Computation, Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics. The courses will be aimed at postgraduate students in the mathematical sciences and cognate disciplines.

The registration fee is $AU660 (which includes GST) for the full three weeks.

A quick currency converter is available at www.xe.com/ucc/.

Accommodation has been reserved on campus at Emmanuel College. See Accommodation page for more details.

Subsidies for International Students and Academics

Students and Academics from Asian and Latin American Universities:
ICE-EM subsidies are available for five postgraduate students or early career academics from Asian and Latin American universities to participate in the Graduate School. The subsidies cover room and board (valued at approximately $AU1100) and a contribution of up to $AU1400 towards international and domestic travel, depending on home country. International applicants pay the non-AMSI registration fee of $AU660.

Applicants must be enrolled or employed full-time in a university in Asia or Latin America. They should have English language skills equivalent to IELTS level 6.5.

PRIMA Accommodation Subsidies: ICE-EM is offering five accommodation subsidies for three weeks to postgraduate students enrolled full-time in universities that are members of the Pacific Rim Mathematical Association (PRIMA) to participate in the Graduate School. (PRIMA Institutions) The subsidies cover the cost of room and board (valued at approximately $AU1100).

Because of reciprocal relations amongst PRIMA institutions, PRIMA students pay the same registration fees as AMSI students - that is, $AU132. PRIMA students who wish to attend, but who are not awarded one of the five accommodation subsidies, still pay the reduced registration fee of $AU132 rather than $AU660.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a PRIMA university. Non-native English language speakers should have English language skills equivalent to IELTS level 6.5.

International Applications

Applicants should submit an application form, but do not have to pay the registration fee until they know whether or not they have been awarded one of the subsidies.
