ICE-EM Australian Graduate School in Mathematics

A number of travel and accommodation subsidies are available from ICE-EM on the basis of academic merit. Any full-time student from an AMSI institution who has been accepted to attend the Graduate School and who is living outside the Brisbane metropolitan area is invited to apply for these. Subsidies for students studying outside of Australia are listed on the International Students page.

Your Online Registration form includes a section where you can indicate if you would like to be considered for either of the two subsidies. If you have ticked these boxes you will be considered for a subsidy at the same time as your Application for Registration is assessed. You will be notified of acceptance and whether you will receive one or both subsidies at the same time.

Accommodation subsidies:
These are for room and full board at Emmanuel College, University of Queensland, only.

Travel subsidies:
You will have to pay for your travel in the first instance and will be reimbursed the price of a return economy airfare from the capital city nearest to your residence upon production of receipts once you arrive in Brisbane. You must present your invoice, receipt and payment details in order to receive reimbursement.
