Cromwell College is a
coeducational residential college within the University of Queensland,
affiliated with the Uniting Church of Australia. It is home away from home
for two hundred and fifty tertiary students aged between seventeen and
twenty, and to conference groups and visitors in vacation periods. Cromwell
provides best practice academic and pastoral support for emerging adults in
their transition from school and home, to university and beyond. The College operates academic, spiritual, pastoral, sporting,
cultural and social support programs. Evidence of the worth of these programs
are in part, the students who choose to stay three or more years at Cromwell,
gaining and then in turn offering, valuable guidance and support to younger
