We'll assume that you'll be using the Earth Sciences HP488CA DesignJet inkjet
printer to print your poster. They offer cheaper rates for School of Physical
Sciences users. To organise this, contact Frank Audsley, Rm 215 Steele Bldg
(within DES office complex), ext 52693; email: f.audsley@earth.uq.edu.au. There is
a form
which
you will need to fill out to pay for the printing from an SPS account. This form
also includes instructions, which you should read.
Note that you will need an appointment with Frank. Even though you think
that your poster is finished and ready to print, chances are that there are
minor, fiddling format issues which will first become apparent when you try to print,
and which could take - literally - hours to rectify.
An obvious corollary of this is that you should not leave the printing until the
day before Poster Day.
