- an extensive choice of subjects and
combinations to ensure your degree will place you at the leading edge of
your chosen career.
Some of the Research Centres attached
to the department are:
The
Advanced Computational Modelling Centre (ACMC)
Centre
for Applied Dynamical Systems, Mathematical Analysis and Probability
Centre
for Discrete Mathematics and Computing
Centre
for Mathematical Physics
Centre
for Plant Architecture Informatics (CPAI)
CSTAT:
Centre for Statistics
Financial
Mathematics Interest Group

To undertake major studies in mathematics,
students need to take at least Maths B, and preferable also Maths C, in their
senior years at school.
To be admitted to a course, you must
meet two basic requirements. First, you must have passed the prerequisite
subjects for the course at the required level. Secondly, your Overall
Position (OP), or equivalent Rank (Entry Score) must be high enough to
obtain a place in a course quota.
