Stiffly Accurate MIRKS for Parallel ComputationClaus BendtsenClaus.Bendtsen@uni-c.dk UNI-C, Denmark
As multi-implicit Runge-Kutta methods (i.e. methods having real and distinct eigenvalues) are suitable for parallel implementation, the construction of such stiffly accurate methods is discussed. The constructed methods are either B-stable or have high stage order. Implementational issues such as parallel error estimators are also discussed and numerical examples from a parallel implementation will be presented. | |
