There will be no examination for this subject. A final grade will be allocated based on the assignments associated with the WWW notes.

The assignments can be done in tex/latex and html or just neatly hand written. The choice is yours. There are 10 assignments to be completed throughout the semester and are available in the WWW notes at the end of each section. Each assignment will be given a mark out of 10 and the final grade will be scaled to a mark out of 100.

The grades after scaling to remove anomalies will be assigned as follows.

7 = 85-100, 6=75-84, 5=65-74, 4=50-64, 3=45-49, 2=20-44, 1=0-19

Note that you should do assignments 1.1 - 1.8, 2.1 and 2.7. You do not do assignments 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.8.

Due dates

Assignments A1.1 -A1.3 must be handed in by Wednesday March 31 in the lecture by 11 am - no exceptions

Assignments A1.4 - A1.7 must be handed in by Wednesday May 19

Assignments A1.8, 2.1, 2.7 must be handed by Friday June 11 at 3pm no exceptions.

You can only hand in assignments on these days but if you wish you can hand in more than the stated number. In other words you can go at an advanced pace if you wish.
