When I finished school I was unsure of what I wanted to do, but chose a science degree. I have always been passionate about the environment and quite good at maths, so when Professor Possingham spoke at an Advanced Science Program seminar about mathematical ecology and reserve design, it caught my interest. I have majored in ecology and will be finishing my degree at the end of this year.

Next year I will be going on to do honours with Professor Possingham.
