EMMIX-GENE is a procedure based on the use of mixture models for clustering microarray expression data. Mixtures of normal distributions, t-distributions, and factor analyzers are used.

Currently (August 2004) there is a demonstration version consisting of the Linux executables files here, used in the original paper from Bioinformatics (McLachlan, Bean, and Peel).

A version of EMMIX-GENE is available for Windows 2000/XP and we are currently working to make EMMIX-GENE accessible through a webpage. Check for updates on this webpage.
