Financial Mathematics Research Group

The University of Queensland Financial Mathematics Interest Group commenced in 2000. We are a coalition of researchers, students and industry partners who all have common interests in the theory and applications of financial mathematics. The research staff involved in the group are from various departments within the university, including mathematics, economics and commerce.

The aims of the group are:

  • To introduce and maintain high standards of research in financial mathematics,
  • To maintain and improve collaborative links between the differing research departments and industry,
  • To continue to develop mathematical finance as an emerging strength of the University,
  • To facilitate rapid disemination of up-to-date information on relevant research, etc.

If you feel that you would like to contribute or participate, please contact Graeme Chandler.
