Poster Day
Every year the School holds a poster day for its postgraduate students
during UQ's Research Week.
This is year it will be held on the afternoon of Friday September 21,
in the last week before the
mid-semester break in second semester. All staff and postgraduate students
are invited to attend, along with several invited guests from outside the
School. This will give you the opportunity to present your most recent
work to a general audience. You may wish to present your poster later at a
conference. Presentation of a poster is compulsory for all students who
are in their 2nd year of candidature. However, all postgraduate students
are encouraged to present a poster. Prizes are awarded for the best
posters. A social BBQ is held towards the conclusion of Poster Day.
