Programme of Events
Thursday afternoon:
- 4:00. Welcome
by the Head of Mathematics, prof. Tony Bracken. (Meet at the mathematics
office, 67-646)
- 4:30 - 6:00.
Drinks at the staff club
- 6:00 - 8:00.
Pizza with staff and students
Friday morning:
- 9 - 10. One-to-one
meetings with staff
- 10:00 - 11:15.
Tour of campus. (Meet at mathematics office)
- 11:15 - 12:00.
Presentation of research areas. (Room 67-641)
Friday afternoon:
- 12:00 - 1:00.
Poster presentation. (Undercover area next to physics annexe.)
- 1:00 - 2:00.
Barbecue.
- 2:00 - 4:30.
Break up into individual research groups.
- 4:30 - ??
Staff club + social activities organised by our PhD students.
