Note that result notifications are NOT mailed out.

Supplementary Exams

Supplementary examinations are only available to students for the first course in their program in which they obtain a grade of 3, or in the final semester of their program for one course if they have obtained a grade of 2 or 3 in that course and require that course to complete the program.  Applications for a Supplementary Exam must be made in writing and submitted to the EPSA Faculty no later than 1 week after the official publication of results.

Note, the maximum grade available for a course in which a student is granted a supplementary examination is a grade of 4.

Special Exams

If through exceptional circumstances you miss a final exam, there is the opportunity for you to apply for a Special Exam. You will need a certification of illness from your medical practitioner, or statutory declaration if the application is based on non-medical grounds.

You can obtain an application form from the Student Centre or you can download one from the myAdvisor website.

This form when completed needs to be handed in to the Student Centre (not the Department) - remember to attach your certificate or declaration. The Student Centre then forwards your application to the Examinations Section for approval and appropriate action.
