Timetable

The class timetable for individual maths courses is available via mySI-net. Select "Timetable Info" from the Guest Access area on the left of the screen, then follow the links. Search for your course using the course code. This is a link to the my.SI-net timetable which is the most accurate and updated way to check your timetable. To confirm a class if in doubt, always check mySI-net.

Check!

It is IMPORTANT to remember to check your timetable frequently during the first couple of weeks of each semester. Room allocation and even class times are subject to change during this period until class numbers settle down. It is recommended that you check daily if possible, to avoid wasted time looking for your class should it have moved.

Abbreviations

If you are unsure of the meaning of any abbreviations and words (such as 2L3P etc), please take a look at the Course Description Glossary.

Buying Textbooks

Not all courses require a textbook and some are references only. Where no book is listed, it is likely that course notes will be provided either online, handed out in class or available for purchase via the bookshop. The lecturer will provide details at the first lecture. Textbooks can be purchased from The University of Queensland Bookshop at St Lucia campus, or online at The University of Queensland Bookshop.
