About the Kingfisher

The Sacred Kingfisher (Todiramphus sanctus) is often seen around Fraser Island, as well as being quite widespread and well-known in Australia generally. It's a very pretty Kingfisher, with black mask, white and buff chest and turquoise blue / sea green head, back, wing and tail.
