Accommodation

Discounted accommodation has been reserved at the Kingfisher Bay Resort & Village, the conference venue. Prices are available on the Accommodation Form.

To book the discounted accommodation at the Resort, use the online Accommodation Form. This form is managed by the Resort and all enquiries should be directed to their team.

In addition to booking the accommodation, the Form allows you to

• Book catamaran transfers from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island
• Book transfers from Hervey Bay Airport
• Book Eco Tours
• Book Eco Rangers (for children)
• Book the Kids Club (for younger children)

as well as other Resort services, as required.

Sharing Accommodation

The Resort features a number of 2 and 3 bedroom villas which can be booked for conference accommodation. Delegates may want to share these villas, and the Accommodation Form provides a space for indicating which delegate you would like to share with.

If you would like to share a villa but do not know someone to share with, you can email Michael Bulmer (m.bulmer@uq.edu.au) and he will try to match people up. Please give your name, contact email, gender, and any preferences you have. Once a match has been found, you will then need to book the accommodation through the Accommodation Form as usual.
