Monday
23 March: We covered pages 57 – 73 of the Cryptography
notes. Here are the slides for the DES example: key
and encryption. The second assignment was
handed out and is available from the main course page.
Tuesday
24 March: We covered pages 74 – 91 of the Cryptography notes (section 8 is
for you to read and was not discussed in class). Here are the slides for the
IDEA example. There was a tutorial after
the lecture and the first cryptography assignment was handed in.
