Abstract

I will talk about some aspects of spectral flow for self adjoint differential operators with both discrete and continous spectrum. Spectral flow is used to study properties of the space of solutions of both linear and non-linear equations and to relate the number of solutions to topological or geometric invariants. The work
described in this is aimed at extending the class of examples for which one may apply spectral flow methods.

All interested are invited to attend.
