Abstract

This talk is intended as an introduction to random matrices, and will concentrate principally on the three important examples of the Gaussian Ensembles (GUE, GOE, GSE) and some of their properties. If time permits, the Circular Ensembles (CUE, COE, CSE) will also be introduced.

All interested are invited to attend.
