Integrable Spin Ladder Systems

In this talk, two spin ladder systems are introduced and analysed. Both models are integrable via the Quantum Inverse Scattering Method and the Bethe ansatz equations and energies will be presented. From these solutions the critical points in the spectrum of energy excitations, indicating phase transitions, can be determined.
