The Oberwolfach problem for cycles of lengths 3 and 4

Abstract
In 1967, at a graph theory meeting at the Oberwolfach conference centre in Germany, Ringel posed the problem "Is it possible to partition the edge-set of the complete graph on n vertices into isomorphic 2-factors?" Many people have investigated this problem. In this talk I will discuss the existing results on this problem and present recent joint work with Darryn Bryant on decompositions of Kn into isomorphic 2-factors where the 2-factors consist entirely of 3-cycles and 4-cycles.

All welcome.
