This time there is an historical slant to some of the clues. Use a search engine on the web, such as Google, if you have any problems!
DOWN:
1. The year of the present Queen’s coronation.
2. The number of wives of Henry VIII, multiplied by the year in which Henry VIII succeeded Henry VII to the throne.
3. The digits in this number are in arithmetic progression, and one factor of this number is 29.
4. The coronation year of William I of England (William the Conqueror), multiplied by the number of sides in a pentagon.
ACROSS:
1. The year that World War II ended.
2. Make up a clue for this one! (You have to do all four of the down clues to find the answer first, though.)
3. This number is the product of three primes: the second prime, the fourth prime, and one other three-digit prime number. The sum of the three digits in this other prime number is 11, and if you add 1 to this three-digit prime, you get the number of hours in 11 full days.
4. This number, divisible by 10, is the product of four primes, the largest of which is a Messier number used to identify the Andromeda Galaxy (which is our Milky Way’s nearest large galaxy).
